Today, lüft held its very first oomoo activity and it marks the start of something very special for young people across Wirral.

oomoo was born out of the desire to inspire and connect young people through art, culture and community.

We are constantly wanting to do things differently and oomoo is no different. We are so passionate that oomoo can shape change for our new members.

We’re delighted to announce we’re working in collaboration with @conveniencesse and the NHS on this fantastic project, Aesthetics.

This is a creative project for individuals with a personality disorder. Here is a number of ways to get involved.

🧑‍🎨 Creative Sessions

This will be a course of 4 creative sessions delivered by professional artists, exploring varied skills & narratives. These will be fun creative sessions to meet new people, build a community, learn new skills & share personal experiences.

📀 Digital exhibition space

We are collectively working to create an ever changing and growing digital space to share your artwork.

🎨 Art commission

This would have a budget of up to £400 inclusive of payment ( to be discussed).

- To create or develop a piece of work, the work itself does not have to be explicitly about your Personality Disorder. The only expectation is that the final outcome will need to be captured & placed online within the Flex PD platform.

- Alongside the creation of the work we will work with you to capture your process, to be presented alongside the work created. This will be in the form of journals & video logs as examples. This will also be shared creative works and placed on the online resource.

@liverpoolbiennial are looking for a young designer between the ages of 16-25, who has lived experience of struggling with their mental health to work with the artist, Vacuum Cleaner on a visual identify for the 'Barmy Army' project.

The aim of the Barmy Army is to bring together an 'army' of young people using art and activism to design a care programme that fits their needs and experience of mental health.
