Future Yard

What? An innovative, annual, music festival staged in the centre of Birkenhead. Venues including Birkenhead Town Hall; Birkenhead Priory; Gallagher’s Pub… and you guessed it! Right here at our new space, Bloom.

When? August Bank Holiday weekend (24th-25th). Think sun; beverages; live music; independent vendors, and absolutely no camping in waterlogged fields.

Why? What do you think of when you think of Birkenhead? Cammell Laird? Tranmere Rovers? Maybe it’s The Smiths’ lyric, ‘it took a tattooed boy from Birkenhead to really open her eyes’. Future Yard is an opportunity to build upon the rich history of Birkenhead, put new fire under its cultural roots and celebrate Wirral’s position as Borough of Culture 2019. With headlining acts such as Anna Calvi and Bill Ryder-Jones and local legends Bill Nickson, Eyesore & The Jinx, and Beija Flo means it’s a weekend not to be missed!

Weekend wristbands are £44.
